LAKEWOOD, NJ — A motor vehicle crash Monday morning has brought down a utility pole and is causing delays in the area of West County Line Road and Hope Chapel Road in Lakewood, police said. There was no immediate word on injuries. Lakewood police are asking motorists to avoid the area. The pole replacement is expected to take several hours. There are heavy delays for those driving through the area, police said. Expect closures for several hours.
