SAN MATEO, CA — All lanes have reopened Tuesday afternoon on northbound Highway 101 in San Mateo after a crash left at least one person injured and blocked multiple lanes for nearly an hour, according to the California Highway Patrol. The three-car crash was reported at 12:07 p.m. at the 3rd Avenue off-ramp. An ambulance was called to the scene, according to preliminary CHP logs. A severe traffic alert was issued shortly after noon, reporting that the left lanes were blocked and that drivers should expect delays and avoid the area. All lanes had been reopened by 1 p.m., according to the CHP.
