Press release from the City of Glendora: March 24, 2022 IMPORTANT: Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Glendora invites interested persons of the City of Glendora to submit applications to serve on the following City Advisory Boards and Commissions for vacancies effective June 30, 2022. The deadline to submit an application for consideration is no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022: Board of Library Trustees: 3 Vacancies: Office Nos. 1, 4, & 5 (3-year term). This Board provides strategic leadership and serves as the creative catalyst for developing and implementing the mission, values and vision of the Glendora Public Library. This Board meets on the third Monday of each month. Applicants for the Board of Library Trustees must be 18 years or older, register to vote and must maintain residency within the incorporated areas of the City of Glendora during their term of office. Applications are available via the City's web site at www.cityofglendora.org or at City Hall in the City Clerk's Department, 116 E. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except holidays. Completed application forms must be filed with the City Clerk no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2022. Please call the City Clerk's Office at (626) 914-8210 for more information. It is anticipated that interviews will be schedule for Monday, May 10, 2022 between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. Applicants will be contacted to schedule interview times following the recruitment deadline.
