Press release from the City of Fargo: March 23, 2022 Sam Payne, a 20-year-old male, and Luke Gabriel, a 21-year-old male, were successfully arrested without incident and taken into custody by the Fargo Police Department at approximately 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 23. During a high-risk traffic stop conducted in the 4400 block of 31st Ave. S., Fargo Police Department officers arrested Payne on an outstanding warrant for Second Degree Assault with a Firearm issued by Clay County, MN. Gabriel was a passenger in the vehicle and was arrested for a Federal Arrest Warrant for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver. Both Payne and Gabriel are Fargo residents.
