URGENT: Please help a young child in the Phillipines

Hi all, I am posting this on behalf of a young Filipino family whose daughter is in critical condition and needs urgent medical care for serious burns. The child previously suffered hydrocephalus and recently this family’s house burnt down in the night, resulting in their daughter becoming severely burnt. I am unsure of the medical system in the Philippines but this family needs a down payment of $2000 to begin surgery, currently they only need around $1000 more. This is a really urgent situation, and any help is graciously appreciated I’m sure. I know the internet is rife with scams and there are so many needy causes these days - this is just a story that moved me and a more than worthy cause. I have contacted the mother and can assure you this is a legitimate situation, there are copious pictures to prove it to any who doubt. We live in one of the most affluent counties in the states, I am hoping that those of us who can may send this poor family some goodwill. Thanks for reading.
