Description

Do you need a helping hand?u have hardWood i'm female waiting for a guy? 34 years old, been playing since 13, have recorded a few albums, done a few tours, done freelance work with multiple bands. Not particularly interested in playing out, just want to record some tunes and see what happens. Into a lot of genres but mostly interested in playing something street metal, black metal, black thrash, black n roll, speed metal, or traditional heavy metal. I like playing really fast shit, will never play in any -core band. Would love to branch out into some punk stuff a la GBH, English Dogs, Adolescents, Anti Nowhere League etc. You: similarly experienced with attainable goals re: music. Responsible enough to make it to rehearsals and apt enough to write and remember material. Must be into true punk or metal, no fuckin 103.9 bullshit. Please reply with links to things you've done and tell me a bit about yourself.Drummer of 35 years experience seeking laid-back variety band to play around Muskegon and possibly Holland or Grand Rapids radius on the weekends. Genres: funk, dance, jam, rock, blues, variety, metal, We are a 90s pop/rock/alt rock cover band in our mid 30s and 40s and currently have bass, rhythm guitar, and drums. Looking to fill a spot for a keyboard player. Is a plus if you do any kind of vocal work and/or play other instruments as well, if you do not, don’t let that hold you back, please reach out. Would ideally like to have a 5 piece band-Bass, two guitars guitar, drummer, and keyboard. We are doing covers of 90s pop/rock/alt rock stuff mostly and some early 00s. There’s room for flexibility. Looking at stuff like Smashing Pumpkins, Matchbox Twenty, Refreshments, Weezer, Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, Wallflowers, toad the wet sprocket, Foo Fighters, Fountains of Wayne, Harvey Danger, Better Than Ezra, Local H, Marcy Playground. Stuff from around that time. I'm thinking it would be cool to jam with others that are well-versed in today's music, travel lightly on the weekends and record some tracks and generally live for the music! Tama 6-piece and Zildjian cymbals with road cases and transpo. Jeremiah
