Description
I have a green cheek conure missing her top beak and a couple toes. She eats pellets/seeds/fruits/veggies just fine. I have had her about 3 yrs- she came from a breeder in Mass and lost her beak from a larger bird. She has fully adapted and has no problems eating or getting around her cage. She loves other birds and loves pets. She’s very sassy and will let you know when she’s going through her hormonal phases. I take her to a vet about 2x a year or as needed for lower beak trims.
Despite her adapting to her surroundings, I would like her to go to someone who can dedicate time to her or someone more bird knowledgeable. She will need a responsible owner to ensure her beak does not overgrow.
