Wanted Landscape Irrigation Technician that would be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing of irrigation components. The Irrigation Technicians assemble, installs, and maintains commercial landscape irrigation pipes and systems. Duties would include but are not limited to handling the materials for irrigation, troubleshooting irrigation systems and programming controllers. Prior experience 1+ years. Must be able to E verify and drug test with a valid drivers license and good MVD record. Job Skills and Responsibilities: • Actively troubleshoots irrigation systems identifying deficiencies within the system. • Programs irrigation controllers on all assigned job sites using repeat cycles to maximize penetration and minimize runoff. • Creates reports detailing irrigation schedules and meter readings as well as a log of irrigation repairs for each job. • Practices effective water management techniques such as ET based scheduling as well as the use of a soil probe to determine the appropriate irrigation schedule for each job. • Recognizes drainage deficiencies and problem soils. • Understands the concept of central control systems. • Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization, and overall operation of the irrigation system. • Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems. • Trenching for lines per plan • Soldering copper • Solvent welding (gluing) pipe • Properly connecting irrigation wires • Installing sprinkler heads per plan • Compacting trenches properly • Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with customers and coworkers • Must be able to work year-round in the Arizona climate. • Other duties as assigned • Reliable and dependable • Must have reliable transportation to and from work • Must be able to follow company safety policies. • Self-Starter, punctual, and dependable. • Completes all tasks within time expectations.
