North Kingstown Police Investigate Shooting Near Frenchtown Road

NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI —North Kingstown police responded to a report of a shooting near Frenchtown Road at Post Road on Friday afternoon. Police told WPRI-TV that no one was injured in the shooting. An employee from a nearby hardware store told the station they were told the incident stemmed from a case of road rage. The witness also said one of the suspects tossed away an apparent weapon right before North Kingstown police apprehended them. State Police were also called to the scene. Police had not released any further information as of early Friday night.
