The Job ENHANCEMENT TECHNICIAN (Full Time/Day) We’re looking for an energetic and motivated teammate to perform all phases of landscape installation, maintenance and improvement projects. Presence at the worksite during normal business hours is an essential function of this position. The benefits Starting hourly wage: $16.25/hour Wages will increase by 2.99% beginning July 1, 2022 Full-time benefits, including: medical, dental, 403(b) retirement plan, life insurance, and mileage reimbursement. Relay pays 100% of an employee’s medical, dental, and vision premiums Enjoy paid time off, paid sick days and paid holidays What you'll do Working hours will be M-F 6:30AM-3:00PM (shift may vary depending on business need) Location will be Relay main campus, 5312 NE 148th Ave Portland OR 97230 Perform physical tasks such as weeding, raking, planting, irrigation, light masonry, carpentry, carrying materials, and more. Operate large equipment (skid steer, mini excavator, trencher, and tractor). Communicate job site conditions to Foreman / Supervisor Follow instructions of Foreman / Supervisor. Train other employees in the proper use of equipment or other activities. Use landscape equipment safely and productively. Why you’re a great fit We know that experience is gathered in many ways. Extensive experience in all phases of landscape construction and maintenance is required Experience operating skid steer, mini excavator, trencher, and tractor Basic experience with masonry and carpentry Irrigation license Oregon or Washington Commercial Pesticide Applicators license is required to spray any pesticides. A current Commercial Pesticide Applicators license is preferred, but not a requirement. Be able to communicate effectively through written or verbal skills. Must be able to read and understand contract specifications and landscape frequency charts. Ability to pass drug screening and criminal history background check and/or fingerprinting as appropriate at any time during employment. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively. COVID Vaccination Requirements Where permitted by applicable law, you must be fully vaccinated or exempted by an approved medical or religious exemption request by your start date (first day reporting to work) to be considered for employment. If you're covered by a medical or religious exemption, please ask for the appropriate exception form during your interview process.
