Position: Facilities Coordinator Hours: Part-time, 25-30 hours per week, with benefits Schedule: Some flexibility in schedule Salary Range: $ 28,527 - $43,992 annually, DOE Location: Encompass Child Development Center, 9050 384th Ave SE, Snoqualmie, WA 98065 Encompass is a private non-profit serving the Snoqualmie Valley and Issaquah communities for over 55 years. DESCRIPTION: The Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a standard of excellence in ensuring that Encompass buildings, facilities, and grounds are functional, efficient, and cared for. This role oversees all facilities maintenance functions at Encompass, supporting three sites and the facilities needs of employees who work on-site. They will execute, analyze, and improve the organization’s solutions to maintenance problems both common and uncommon. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for scheduling routine building maintenance activities, vendor quality assurance, maintenance records, and managing vendors • Identify and coordinate repairs, hire external contractors as needed • Perform basic handyperson tasks including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting • Primary contact for building management and maintenance of systems • Respond to ticket system requests in a timely manner • Coordinate Mobile Therapy Unit (Sprinter Van) maintenance and repair • Oversee facility improvement projects and remodels • Manage vendors for landscaping (including mowing, trimming, weeding) for both sites • Procure and maintain equipment and tools • Supervise volunteer landscape/operations projects QUALIFICATIONS • Work experience managing facilities • Experience with proactively troubleshoot repairs, performing basic handyperson tasks • Familiarity with building systems • Knowledge of health and safety regulations • Sound judgment and the ability to think quickly under pressure • Strong oral and/or written communication and organizational skills • Basic computer skills and use of Microsoft Office PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Daily physical activity, including some heavy lifting, may be required. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Strong organizational skills, ability to quickly prioritize competing demands • Proactive in meeting staff and building needs • Excellent communications skills – listening, and written or oral • Strong attention to detail OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Must possess reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license • Must provide current proof of insurance on personal vehicle at each renewal date • Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 • Available to attend meetings, functions, and events after normal business hours on occasion.
