Looking for a qualified, Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and upkeep for a 104-unit, apartment complex located in Salem. Position requires approximately 24 hours per week.
Duties would include (but not limited to):
- electrical
- plumbing
- light carpentry
- painting (including sheetrock)
- maintaining common areas (parking lots, trash enclosures, laundry rooms)
- aiding in turnovers (i.e. removing and disposing of abandoned property)
- ongoing maintenance requests
- other duties assigned/as required
Qualifications need to include:
- previous apartment maintenance experience (preferred)
- basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, painting, and drywall installation
- ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- close attention to safety rules
- ability to follow instructions
- reliable transportation
- adherence to all landlord, tenant and Fair Housing laws
