NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — As the days get longer, and slowly get warmer, it's time to starting thinking about summer camp in North Kingstown. This year's offerings include a "Teen Extreme" program that includes three separate weeks of high action-activities and the summer playgrounds program. The "Teen Extreme" program is open to those ages 12, 13 and 14 on the first day of camp for the weeks starting July 13, July 27 and Aug. 10. The summer playgrounds program is for ages 6 through 13 and runs June 22 to Aug. 14 Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Half day and extended-day programs are available. Scholarships are available for the playgrounds program. To apply, bring a photo ID and one month's income verification to Heritage Village on April 30, Kinstown Crossing on May 7, or DMS Library on May 13.
