We want to meet you! Pella Windows & Doors of North Texas is looking for a professional and experienced Service/Field Tech to support our Service Team with repairs or adjusting Pella windows and doors in the field, diagnosing product issues, determining efficient resolution plans and communicates which tools are necessary to resolve issues (i.e. labor, parts, tools, or time needed to complete), and verifying measurements for window and door openings are correct before product ordering and install. Are you a Super Star with: • Reliability and professionalism • Ability and experience with handling large, heavy units, operating a service vehicle, and updating service -related paperwork • Fundamental knowledge of how to use power tools (table saw, circular or miter saw, pneumatic nail gun, power drill, etc) • Detail and deadline-oriented capabilities • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Flexibility in handling a variety of assignments • Fluency with Microsoft outlook. Do you enjoy? • Verifying sales contract details to match precise unit size needs by measuring openings prior to product ordering • Assisting with replacing glass in windows or doors and installing items such as shades, blinds, muntins, screens etc. • Identifying and resolving issues in the field • Assisting with coordinating maintenance for assigned service vehicles • Creating the opportunity for a Very Satisfied Customer Service Rating from all customers • Generating and updating all service – related paperwork and file folders following service visits • Preparing necessary paperwork and identifying items that need attention or correction prior to project finalization Do you have? • Strong track record in safety precautions and fleet safety policies • Familiarity and experience with collecting customer payments • Knowledge of completing service work orders • Authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer • Willingness to undergo a background check and a drug test • Ability to reliably commute to our Grapevine location (our team relationships are a high priority, so this opportunity is on-site and in-person) Our work family: Best Replacement Window Company - Pella in Dallas, TX (pellabranch.com) What we do: Dallas-Pella Windows and Doors is a committed leader in creating a better view for homes and businesses by providing quality windows and doors for new construction, remodeling and replacement applications in North and West Texas.
