Brookway Horticultural Services is looking for an experienced irrigation technician for an immediate hire. Core Responsibilities: • Troubleshoot, inspect and repair irrigation systems • Ensure irrigation repairs are being done correctly on a timely basis and in accordance with all local and state codes • Maintain paperwork on projects, work orders, and issues • Quality Control - Adhere to Brookway's standards and safety policies • Maintain inventory of parts and tools • Communicate daily with Irrigation Manager and other team members as needed • Inspect company equipment, property and vehicle daily • Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Abilities: • Have working knowledge of different types of Irrigation systems, such as Weathermatic, Rain Bird, Hunter • Understand all landscape components for proper seasonal adjustments and watering times • Knowledge of the safe use of hand and power equipment involved in the Irrigation Department such as drills, trenchers, and line finders • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Strong leadership skills • Strong analytical/organizational skills • Hardscape and plant identification knowledge • Must be reliable and dependable on a daily basis Qualifications: • Texas Driver's License required with clean driving record • Minimum 1 year of work in the field of irrigation preferred • TCEQ Irrigation License or Technicians License preferred • Backflow license is a plus • Previous experience in drainage • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus Benefits: • A great work environment with a team atmosphere. • Company iPhone provided • Working on your TCEQ license; we may be able to help pay for your test!
