Description
This is a research study for people who are pregnant and/or partners of people expecting a baby. We welcome all individuals of diverse identities and backgrounds. We are particularly interested in individuals in their third trimester of pregnancy, or partners of these individuals.
The study is conducted by the University of Denver, and it involves one in-person interview during pregnancy that compensates $50, as well as two additional interviews after birth that compensate $55 and $60. We have free parking or we can cover the cost of your Uber ride to and from the University of Denver Department of Psychology.
The requirements are that individuals are at least 18 years old, speak English, and live in the Denver metro area. If you or your partner are interested, please call or text 720-432-3105. Thanks!

Share your Story: A Conversation about Pregnancy/Parenthood
Who can participate?
- Anyone who is pregnant and the fathers/second parents. Both individuals must be at least 18 years old, speak English, and plan to have their baby at Denver Health
Who is conducting the study?
- The University of Denver, Department of Psychology
- The Principal Investigator is Dr. Angela Narayan, Ph.D., L.P.
How long will it take?
Parents will be interviewed for about two hours:
- Once during the 2nd or 3rd trimester of pregnancy
- Once 3-4 months after your baby is born
- Once 12-14 months after your baby is born
Will I be compensated?
Each participant will receive $50-$60 dollars after each interview.
