Our fast-paced environment creates a great atmosphere for self-driven and ambitious people to advance their career. DTI Trucks is currently looking to fill two positions in our salvage yard. Job duties include but are not limited to: -Pull parts off of trucks that have been sold and prepare them for either local pick up or shipping. - Helping keep the salvage yard clean, orderly and safe. -Help with weekly projects that help keep the salvage yard clutter free and safe for everyone to work in. -Preparing parts for shipping which may be as simple as boxing up the part or securing the part to a pallet, but could be more complex with having to customize a pallet and secure the part to the pallet to insure that the part doesn’t get damaged during shipment. -Customizing pallets for engines so they can be stored on shelves until sold. -Tagging and putting parts on the shelves properly for storage. -Keeping the storage areas clean and orderly. -Loading trucks with outbound shipping. This position requires your own tools. Tools for shipping are provided. Forklift experience is a plus. Starting pay is $17-25.00 per hour and is based on experience.
