Description
Step up and be a hero to this beautiful doggo rescued off the local animal shelter's euthanasia list!! Why shop, when you can ADOPT!? We are currently fostering 4 month old Enzo as he patiently waits to find his fur-ever home. (Adoption will go through Animal Care Services in San Antonio and costs $25, which includes vaccinations, neuter, microchip, and flea/tick/heartworm preventatives.)
Enzo is the sweetest, little wiggly butt you will ever meet! At about 25 lbs, he's the perfect snuggling size. He's a goofy, velcro baby and is still learning how to be independently confident. Enzo prefers companionship and he especially likes other dogs and children. He loves tennis balls, squeaky toys, and car rides! Enzo is very intelligent and picks up on cues from people and other animals quickly. If the energy in the room is high, he's ready to play. If the vibe is more chill, he's happy to just lay around and relax. Enzo is crate trained for overnight and times when he is home alone. He does a great job at keeping a clean crate with no potty accidents. He is currently working on learning how to alert at the back door when he needs to go outside and how to walk politely on a leash. He is non-reactive around other dogs, even aggressive dogs, and is not at all interested in being the alpha dog. Enzo would be an easy addition to any home or lifestyle!
Enzo was brought into the shelter after being hit by a car. He has been working hard to recover and his only remaining injuries include a slightly swollen snout and some possible soft tissue damage in his nose. He is currently taking some anti-inflammatory meds to reduce any remaining swelling. Basically, he's a pro at snoring and sounds like a piglet when he gets super excited right now! His prognosis is excellent and he is expected to fully recover. Hooray!
