Knoxville based company is currently in search of crew leaders and crew members to fill their ranks ! If you like the idea of building a career by serving your community, building food productions systems at every scale and being a part of ecosystem projects like large scale land reclamation using nothing but regenerative organic methods than be sure and reach out! Job Description Currently accepting applications in search of an experienced landscape/construction crew member and foreman/crew lead. Looking for individuals with experience in the landscape, or ag industry and strong leadership skills. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: -Project installations -Hardscapes - Planting -Heavy equipment operation -Project management -Self disciplined and task oriented -Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings -Valid Drivers License -Respectful towards others -Meeting with new clients to discuss project details -Sourcing materials and equipment for jobs on schedule, maximizing efficiency. -Communicating with the owner or project management team member and crew. -Work closely with design professionals to ensure project details are effectively communicated and client expectations are managed. -Ensure proper vehicle maintenance issues are handled preventatively as much as possible. -Establish and maintain project schedule and communicate timeline expectations to management. (Not necessary but desired) -Willingness to pursue “CE” credits as it relates to tasks or skills in our work. -Familiarity with building soils, planting fruit trees, and general knowledge in sustainable and regenerative agriculture practices is a bonus. Veteran owned and operated and we literally do it all! Edible Landscapes, retaining walls, greenhouse design and construction, concrete work, stormwater management, and rainwater collection, excavation and much more all in support of the food production systems and landscapes we are designing. Pay commensurate with experience.
