This is gig work for the adventurous carpenter/cabin builder. We have a 3 year project building a lodge in one of the most remote places in the US. We will build multiple cabins on my property on the lower Yukon River in Alaska starting in 2022. The region is known for excellent big game hunting, bird hunting and fishing. Compensation will be at Alaska rates and team members will have the opportunity to hunt and fish. All food, travel and lodging provider by the owner. Applicants must be hardy and accustomed to outdoor living. We are looking for skills in rough carpentry, foundations, framing and roofing. This job is perfect for the individual who is a combination of a skilled construction worker and adventurous outdoorsman. Promotion possible for those who return for multiple seasons.
