We are hiring technicians and skilled carpenters to join our team. Our company focuses on historic restoration, woodworking and related carpentry -- specifically we restore and build historic windows and doors. We are passionate about our craft and bringing historic buildings and homes back to life. Some of our notable jobs include the Alamo, King Ranch, LBJ White House, 6 different Courthouses and O Henry Museum. Window Tech: No experience required- we can train you! Hard working, good with your hands, attention to detail, professional and positive attitudes are key. We are looking to diversify our team - WOMEN that includes you! Experience/skills we are looking for: 1. Fine woodworking, experience making windows, doors, furniture- experience required for this position 2. Trim carpentry 3. General shop woodworking skills 4. Painting - brush and spray 5. Glazing putty application 6. Other advanced woodworking skills This job involves extraction of windows, scraping, sanding, repairs, painting, glazing, reinstallation. If you have pictures of your work email those too. Pay rate is typically $15 to $25/hr depending on experience. This job includes working at our shop and site work. Some travel and overnights is required, up to 25%. Trips are planned in advance and will not be more than 3-4 nights at a time, typically Monday - Thursday.
