HVAC For Furnace In Attic

I bought a house. The furnace is in a pantry area off the kitchen. It is a single story frame ranch on a slab, 1700 square feet or so. First, I want you to take a look at why I am not not getting much heat in the bedrooms. Second, I want to talk to you about whether we can add ductwork to heat/cool the attached garage. Three, I want to talk to you about replacing the furnance with a new high efficiency furnace. Fourth, I want talk to you about moving the furnace into the attic or doing the new install in the attic, or possibly the garage. Fifth, I want to know whether you think an electronic zone control makes sense to warm up/cool off the bedrooms. I'd like to get this done sooner rather than later.
