It’s Back!! After a two year hiatus, the Cuyahoga Falls Amateur Radio Club Hamfest, Electronics and Computer show returns Saturday April 9, to it’s traditional location, Emidio and Sons Party Center, at the corner of State and Bath Roads in Cuyahoga Falls. Hams, Makers, Tinkerers, CBers, anyone interested in electronics, science and technology should plan to attend this all inside event. Doors open at 8 am and for the next five hours attendees will have an opportunity buy, sell, and trade radios, antennas, computers, electrical supplies, test equipment, parts, maker supplies, tools, cables, and any other type of technological treasure that may turn up. Got technical gear you want to sell? Need to downsize your station? A limited number of eight foot tables are still available (as of 3/22). Only $18 per table and that includes one chair. Limited Friday evening setup is available. Register online at: Volunteer Examinees will be on hand to offer free Ham Radio exams (last exam starts at 11 am, advance registration is required) and QSL card checking services will be available. The Club repeaters (147.27+ and 444.85+, PL tone 110.9) will be available for talk-ins and a mobile check in prize will be awarded. Join CFARC or renew your membership at the Hamfest and you’ll get one extra ticket in the prize drawing. Admission just $7 and includes one prize ticket. Those 18 and younger qualify for free admission but no prize ticket. Prize drawings will be held throughout the morning for over $600 in DX Engineering merchandise certificates and ham radio equipment.
