Residential Low-Voltage Outdoor Lighting Company looking for Lead Operator/Manager Our company is a small family/woman owned business that works with homeowners to develop and deliver beautiful outdoor lighting schemes with a variety of low-voltage fixtures. This is a great opportunity for a new career start for someone that takes pride in their work and is looking for a chance to flex their creative muscles, work outdoors, and manage a team with respect and an attitude of leadership by example. **Previous lighting/electrical experience is definitely a plus but we are willing to train the right person even with no relevant background. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach.** We are looking for full-time individuals that are excited by the prospect of being able to create and execute site specific lighting schemes, who are comfortable listening to and speaking with homeowners in a polite and professional way, and who understand that as the lead operator they set the standards of workmanship expected from their team, and through their example they set the bar high. Each job and each client is different, presenting different challenges and problem solving opportunities - you will not become bored with monotonous repetition and doing the same thing every day. Your responsibilities include: - Generating & following up on leads through a variety of means, from home shows, to canvassing neighborhoods, word of mouth referrals, reaching out to real estate professionals etc. - Arranging and scheduling live demonstrations at potential customers homes. - Gathering the necessary lights, ladders, and equipment needed from our storage, and transporting to the home site. - Working with or without direction from homeowners, to create a beautiful lighting scheme unique to the particular residence. - Communicate with homeowners about scheduling final installation with notes of any additional lights or changes they might want, collect deposit. - Scheduling your installation team to complete service and collecting final payment. Other qualifications: - Self directed and sufficient, this can be an extremely lucrative position for a person motivated to create business growth. - We are a team no matter what position you hold with our company and as such, you must be willing to treat co-workers/lead with respect, and conduct yourself positively and professionally. - Must be willing to take care of our equipment, tools, storage areas, etc and treat them as if they were your own, as we would for you. - Must have reliable transportation, a good driving record, possess a current NCDL and pass a background check. - Ability to lift ~50lbs, be comfortable working outside, and on ladders This is an hourly position with commission potential and advancement/salary opportunities for the right person. $25/hour. Mon-Fri. Major holidays off
