Hendrix is a neutered 3 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever / Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. His dad (a young man) had him since he was a baby and it was a very difficult parting (landlord issues). He taught him to be a good boy and even how to pheasant hunt. Hendrix favorite activity is playing ball. He is currently in a foster home with another dog and doing fine. He prefers other mature dogs to puppies. Good with indoor cats with gradual introduction. He weighs about 98 pounds, he is very strong and energetic. A strong, active adopter is a MUST. Besides playing fetch he loves to go for walks and snuggle. Good off leash and comes when called.
