Since the weather is warming up and people are planning projects, let me give you a little unasked for advice. There is a man in the area who does odd jobs, clean up, yardwork, pavers, etc. He is very friendly and sociable, gains your trust. He is probably in his early 40s. He will even show you his prior and current projects. If he can talk you into a bigger job, he will ask for upfront money so he can buy supplies. When you give it to him he disappears. His phone number and email address aren't valid, and there are no posts on his Facebook page. I got told very rudely by one of his relatives who runs a well known business in this area with the same last name that his family has nothing to do with him because of his past. His name is Roman Melton. I am including one of his booking photos from Reuben Long so you can see what he looks like. Let my loss be your warning. Yeah know I should have had a contract, but a handshake has always worked in the past. .
