On March 18th of this year, The Crown Act (a law that would prohibit hair discrimination based on texture and style) was passed in the HOR.
HOR (The House of Representatives). The next step would be for the US Senate to vote in order for it to be signed by the President into law. This is a major win, but why is this even a fight in the first place in this day and age?
