The Hottest and Hysterical Comedians descend on Checkerspot Brewing, South Baltimore & Federal Hill to bring the incandescently funny! Draughts & Laughs returns on Saturday, April 30, 2022 to Checkerspot Brewing, South Baltimore & Federal Hill to bring the incandescent funny! Show Time is 8:00PM. Show seating will begin at 7PM. The brewery opens at noon on Saturdays. #FREEPARKING Food service (is incredible) and full drinks service is available. No Outside Food or Drink! Tickets are $15 in advance (until April 29th at 11:59PM) or can be purchased at the door for $20.* Headliner: D Lo Dana Lollar, aka Comedian D. Lo, hails from Baltimore MD. Always a jokester, DLo stumbled into the comedy world, in Nov 2015, after a leg injury had her out of work. In her short comedy career she has won more than 30 competitions, been a finalist in Magoobys New Comedian of the Year Competition, headlined various shows in Baltimore, DC, Delaware, Florida, Chicago, Milwaukee, Ohio, NYC, Alabama, Portland, Las Vegas, and Jamaica. She is a regular host at Magoobys Joke House and has been a finalist in Kevin Hart's "Hart of the City" on Comedy Central. She was a feature act in the 2019 Black Girl Giggles Festival, 2019 Baltimore Comedy Festival, the 2019 DC Comedy Festival, and was an integral part of the 2021 Black Women In Comedy Festival. She has broadened her span of experience by performing at comedy clubs such as Magoobys Joke House, The Stand, Dc Improv, Riddles, and many more. In 2020 she became part of a Baltimore based touring comedy team known as SheMoreFunny. More recently she has performed with the likes of Mark Normand, Sam Morrill, Roy Wood, Damon Williams, Just Nesh and Gina Brillon. Features: Erin Patrick, Darnell "Hoot" Fuson , Michael Furr, Kate Blanset Michael Furr is a fabulously funny stand-up comedian, improv coach, director, and booking manager for the Lou Costello Room Comedy Club in Baltimore. He has opened for the likes of Nikki Glaser, Jim Norton, Nate Bergatze and many more and regularly performs and clubs all over the East Coast. His hit special “Straight Acting” is available on Amazon Prime Video, Spotify, and iTunes as will be his new special “I Didn’t Die” which is scheduled to come out later this year. Darnell "Hoot" Fuson is a stand up comedian based out of the Church of Satire Comedy Club in Hanover, PA. With an uncanny balance of both self, and societal awareness audiences find this brand of Satire to be relatable, hilarious, repulsive, and righteous from start to finish. Kate Blansett is a DC based comedian who uses humor to process the minor traumas and slight inconveniences life has dealt her. Originally from Indiana, her comedy provides refreshing views on marriage and men, as well as surprisingly good tips on how to be a better ultimate frisbee player. Erin Patrick is an extremely energetic and enthusiastic comic. He hosts his own comedy show called One More Dad Joke and has performed on ABC’s Baltimore Loves Talent and the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival. He is also a regular performer AND host at the Lou Costello Room in Baltimore, MD. When Erin is not spending time with his family he is on stage telling hilarious stories about them. Inevitably he ends up making fun of himself more than anything else and always brings a lot of energy to the stage. Host: Mike Quindlen (producer of this very show) lives in Baltimore, but is from Philadelphia. He has opened for Rich Vos, J.B. Smoove, Alonzo Bodden, the late John Weatherspoon, Doug Stanhope and a few other legends. Mike is also the founder and creative director of the Ellicott Silly Comedy Festival.
