The General Standards Core Pesticide Exam covers basic pesticide application safety. This test is required to obtain a category license
The class will cover:
Florida pesticide law, transportation, mixing, loading, storing and disposal of pesticides, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), basic equipment calibration, pesticides and the environment, understanding the label, harmful effects, emergency response, and application procedures.

Notes:
The class will start at 9:00am and it ends at 12:00pm.
For participants that want take the test the same day, there will be spaces available from 1:00pm-3:00pm (9 spaces) and 3:00pm-5:00pm (9 spaces). These participants must have a voucher before taking their test.
