Join us for the 1st annual Oklahoma School Innovation Summit June 22-24 at The Renaissance Waterford Hotel in Oklahoma City. Inspirational speakers, breakouts lead by Oklahoma teachers and district teams, and first class networking opportunities promise to make this the can’t miss professional development event of the summer.
The event will kick off Wednesday evening June 22nd with a reception and potential NonDoc sponsored State Superintendent debate.
On Thursday, June 23, Alton Carter, inspirational author of The Boy Who Moved Bricks will be our keynote speaker and guest presenter throughout the day. Come hear his powerful personal story and don’t miss his session on teaching the unreachable. Thursday will also include breakout sessions on innovative school practices presented by Oklahoma teachers and district teams, including Teachers For Teachers Fellows. The day will culminate with an evening at the Bricktown Ballpark where participants can eat, mingle with vendors in a relaxed atmosphere, and cheer on the Dodgers.*
Finally on Friday, June 24th we’ll work in roundtable sessions to make plans for how you will use the knowledge you’ve gained at OSIS to move your school forward.
