NFI Forklift Operator FULL-TIME $15.75/hr 300 Penry Road, Greensboro, NC 27405 Starting hourly pay is $15.00/hour 1st shift, 2nd Shift $16.50 3rd & 4th $17/hour shift differentials for 2nd, 3rd and 4th shift. The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating material handling equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking and counting merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the forklift and may also be required to perform order filler or order checker duties in addition to his or her own Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to storage locations Stacks and stores merchandise in designated areas using a forklift or other powered equipment Pulls and prepares products for shipment Ensures that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped Performs picking duties in an efficient manner meeting customer service standards Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following prescribed work methods Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security Assists in physical inventories Ensures proper stock rotation Conducts cycle counts as requested Schedule - Shift start: 6:00AM or 6:00PM - Shift length: 10.5 hours - Days: 1st Shift: Mon - Thurs 6a - 6p, 2nd Shift: Mon - Thurs 6p - 6a, 3rd Shift: Fri - Sun + 1 week day 6a - 6p, 4th Shift: Fri - Sun + 1 week day 6p - 6a Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance Requirements - At least 3 months forklift experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment - Willingness to become forklift certified - Attention to detail - Excellent customer service skills - Must have Excel knowledge plus general computer knowledge - Must be at least 18+ years old - Must pass drug screen (cannabis included) - Must pass background check - Can lift 50 lbs About NFI NFI is a leading international third party logistics provider with customers ranging from Fortune 100 companies to small businesses.
