Magnanimous Philadelphia Police Officer

Description

Sunday March 13th approx. 9am in the Reading Terminal Market at PEARL'S OYSTER BAR. My girlfriend, my best friend and myself sat down to eat breakfast ahead of visiting the Car Show. A contingent of Philadelphia Police Officers had the same idea prior to "hitting the streets" for the St. Patrick's Day Parade. As we walked around the counter looking for a seat, we THANKED the officers for their service. We whole heartedly support Police, Fire and Emergency personnel. The Police Officers had finished up just before we did. As they headed out the doors, a waitress took back mt bill stating that a mistake had happened. Upon returning several minutes later, the waitress stated that an Officer paid our bill. WAIT! WHAT JUST HAPPENED! ARE YOU KIDDING ME???!!!! We were flabbergasted to say the least! NEVER EVER EVER HAS THIS HAPPENED TO ANY OF US BEFORE! Many times I've tried to buy an Officer breakfast or lunch or a cup of coffee but to NO avail. None have ever taken me up on an offer! I realize that the climate in which we live, my actions could be misconstrued. However, I THANK OFFICERS EVERY CHANCE WHERE EVER, WHEN EVER I CAN. AND NOW I PROFUSELY WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE OFFICER(S) WHO PAID OUR TAB on Sunday March 13th! Be Well, Be Safe, God Bless to all our Police Officers!
