Get ready for Passover with a wine and charoset experience from around the world!
Charoset- one of the many iconic foods of the Passover Seder. This dish, which one would eloquently describe as a "sweet mush", is traditionally used as a dip for Maror (bitter herb) and for Korech (Hillel's sandwich).
On one hand, Chaorset's texture reminds us of the mortar we used as slaves, but on the other hand, its sweet flavor reminds us of our freedom. For most Ashkenazi Jews, Charoset was and always will be a combination of chopped apples, walnuts, cinnamon, sugar, and wine. Prepared to have your mind (and tastebuds) blown when you discover that there are many more out there!
Indian, Iraqi, Israeli, Yemenite, Persian the list goes on! Some put banana, dates, figs, raisins, pistachios, and even mango! Come join us and taste them all!
Oh! One more thing! Thanks to Royal Wine, we'll be pairing each Charoset with a different Kosher for Passover Wines. All wines will be available for purchase with a special KITE/YAD discount.
