Pop-up meditation hikes in the South Bay Join us for mindfulness meditation hikes.What does it mean to be mindful? Simply, it just means to fully attend to whatever you are doing in the present moment. Have you often observed how your mind while presently engaged in an activity but is constantly thinking about something else, not being able to fully live in the present moment? Each walk will begin with a mindfulness technique instruction. Once we begin walking, we urge participants to refrain from talking as unnecessary chatter would detract from our meditation. Participants are free to socialize before or after our session.Small class group size: 6Hike duration: 30 minute; click "Select a Date" to view available dates.Pop-up meditation hikes are held rain or shine at scenic open space preserves mainly in the South Bay such as Rancho San Antonio Open Space Preserve, Montalvo Arts Center, Alviso Marina County Park, Mission Peak, etc.👉 7:30 AM Tuesday March 29 Sunrise Hike at Mission Peak Trail Head680 Stanford Ave, Fremont, CA 94539 This is a good uphill hike w/ bay views. Almost no tree shades so make sure you have lots of water, wear a cap, and put on some sunscreen. A strenuous hike; wear hiking shoes. He teaches yoga, tai chi chuan, progressive muscle relaxation, guided imagery, Vipassana meditation, mindfulness meditation exercises, and meditation breathing exercises to reduce anxiety/stress.Tim is also an American Council on Exercise (ACE) and National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF) certified personal fitness trainer.
