The Wiggle Room is seeking an experienced Dog Groomer, for a full OR part-time position to join our team. We are a small salon that is rapidly growing! This is a position for a self-starter who is looking to grow their client base. It is a unique set up with a fun team. Full time hours available in near future. Responsibilities: Must be able to independently perform all grooming tasks, including bathing, drying, brushing, de-matting (when humanely applicable), breed-standard cuts, nail trimming, etc.Ability to groom a wide variety of dogs breeds keeping current with style trendsCommunication directly with the clients to ensure a understanding of what they are requesting for their groomKeep records of grooming details for each visit.Maintain a clean and healthy environment, which included but not limited to cleaning the grooming equipment, vacuuming, organization etcAnswering phone calls in a professional manor, making grooming appointments.Must own your own tools/equipment (HV dryers on site)Applicant must be reliable and timely Qualifications: Previous experience in dog grooming (at least 1-2 years of qualifying experience)Strong knowledge of dog behavior.Ability to lift at least 50lbs.Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening mannerAbility to thrive independently in a salon Compensation is 50/50 commission +tips. Schedule is based on appointments. Days can be flexible. 10-30hrs. *Please email us your resume.
