Hello, I have an eight-year-old Australian Shepherd (Potato) and I'm hoping to find someone able to care for him while I'm on ship rotations. My general schedule is 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off for the summer season (April - September). The perfect person for this gig would be someone without pets, ample time in their schedule to take Potato on walks/hikes, and the overall ability to give him the time and attention he needs to be a happy & healthy pup. The exact schedule would be May 14th - June 26th (approx. 6 weeks), July 16th - September 4th (approx. 7 weeks), & September 10th - October 5th (approx. 3.5 weeks). I'm offering $3,000 + plus expenses (food, medical, toys, treats, etc.) to be paid on some kind of installment arrangement amenable to both parties. In a perfect world, I'd love to establish a long-term relationship with someone whereby I'm able to taken regular work on a 6 week on/ 6 week off schedule year round and know that I have someone who is going to take care of Potato and love him as if he were their own.
