Do you have a few Sunday hours to spare? Do you want to be proactive in making a significant impact on lowering the population of homeless cats? Do you have patience? Do you like a challenge? Do you love to "win"?! If you said yes to any of these questions, then we have an amazing volunteer opportunity for you! Every Sunday our volunteers are out trapping cats for spay neuter. You'll be partnered with a trainer who will show you the tricks for catching cats. Plan on spending several hours - usually morning / early afternoon. You need to be able to pick up and carry a cat in a trap (about 15#). Spaying just ONE cat prevents the births of THOUSANDS of homeless kittens - imagine what a huge impact your time spent will make!
