Bring your creativity to the chair! Have your model ready from HEAD TO TOE to compete to win $200 cash prize for 1st place in 60 minutes! Each competitor must supply their own model. Models must be at least sixteen (16) years of age. Each competitor will have 60 minutes to complete the look! Judges will pick the winner for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! Hair may be pre-set, but must be brushed back before the start of the competition! Competitors will have 60 minutes to complete the hair style! After the 60 minutes is over competitors will be asked to not touch their models hair! If this rule is not fulfilled by the competitor they will not be scored! Model clothing, makeup and accessories must be done in advance and must complement the finished style. All styling tools are NOT allowed. YOU WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS to a electrical outlet! **Imagination and creativity will be the key focus and displayed in the completed work.** Hair BRAIDING is a MUST and can be incorporated into an up do if you wish, but the braid needs to be the MAIN focus and stay true to the theme! Remember you have 60 minutes! BRAIDS MUST BE IN YOUR HAIRSTYLE! Think outside the box! There will be minutes allotted after the competition to finish dress- ing or accessorizing your model. You may not touch your model’s hair at this point in time. Models may be posed, seated or standing but must remain in the same position for the duration of the judging process. COMPETITION TIME: 60 minutes *Competitors may not be a license Cosmotologist for over 2 years. Or have a SC braiders license (no more than 2 years) Competitors applying for a SC Braiders license within the next 30 days of the competition will be allowed to compete! Competitors will be ask to show credentials!
