2 Tampa Men Dead In Shootings Friday Night, Saturday Morning

TAMPA, FL — Tampa police are investigating two shootings that left two people dead. The first occurred Friday at 7:23 p.m. Police were called to the 8400 block of Mission Court but didn't find anyone hurt at that location. Then another call came in guiding police to the victim's location just south of Mission Court. Police found an 18-year-old with gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. Police were called again Saturday around 11 a.m. to a shooting at North 39th Street and East Seward Street where they found a man in front of an apartment building with a gunshot wound. Witnesses said the shooter shot the man and fled the scene. He, too, was taken to the hospital where he died.
