Does anyone know a kind and caring hairdresser who has experience cutting matted hair? Or anywhere we could call and ask to try and find one?
My elderly mom had a hospital stay last year and her hair started getting tangled. We were making progress getting it combed out, but then she started having more health problems and wasn't feeling well enough to keep working on it.
Now her hair is matted and we are looking for a hairdresser. She would like a compassionate cut so she can transition to wearing a wig while her hair grows back.
We would be grateful to find a mobile hairdresser who can make a house call. We are on the Southwest side near Midway airport, the nearest major intersection is Archer and Harlem.
Depending on the distance and salon accessibility / setup, she might be able to make it to a nearby salon or private home salon.
