Flamingo Island Flea Market is expanding and seeking an experienced, creative and passionate Pizza and Sub Cook for our brand-new restaurant - Freddie's Pizza! Come join our Freddie's Pizza team here at Flamingo Island Flea Market. This is a Part-Time, weekend based (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) position and we are motivated to hire immediately. Responsibilities Preparing FRESH pizza dough, sauces, and various toppings Monitoring the temperature of the pizza ovens as well as cooking times Preparing high-quality pizzas according to company recipes Complete the orders in a timely manner Comply with food safety regulations and maintain an organized workstation Monitoring inventory and placing orders for more supplies as needed Cleaning workstations before preparation Ensuring that all utensils and cooking equipment are sterilized before each use Plating or packaging orders accordingly Managing all food order slips and ensuring that customers’ orders are completed in a timely manner Qualifications 1-year experience preparing FRESH pizza 1-year of food service experience required Must have Food Handlers License for consideration Must be able to work on the weekends (Friday, Saturday & Sundays) Work experience as a Pizza Cook or similar role in a restaurant Hands-on experience with preparing and baking pizza doughs Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment Understanding of food cross-contamination procedures Good time-management skills Team spirit A culinary school diploma is not required but definitely a plus!
