Press release from the Round Rock Chamber: March 22, 2022 The Round Rock Chamber is closely monitoring information provided by our stakeholders and community partners to provide as much information to our investors and the community as possible. Please see the information below on resources available for assistance and donation/volunteer opportunities. We will continue to update this page as more information becomes available. The City of Round Rock will also continue to provide ongoing updates and information available to residents and businesses. If you need disaster recovery assistance, please see the following resources: HOW TO REPORT PROPERTY DAMAGE The Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) encourages citizens to report damage to property by submitting a damage assessment survey using the Individual State of Texas Assessment Tool (iSTAT). Click on "March Severe Weather." The information provided in the survey helps emergency management officials gain an understanding of damages that have occurred and helps officials determine if the damages meet federal requirements for various forms of disaster assistance, as well as identify any immediate resource needs. CENTRAL TEXAS RED CROSS The American Red Cross is responding to communities affected by Monday's storms. If your home was destroyed or significantly damaged during Monday's severe weather, and you need help, please call 800-RED-CROSS or visit redcross.org. POWER OUTAGE AND NATURAL GAS INFORMATION Multiple power outages have been reported throughout the City. Outages can be reported to Oncor by calling 888-313-4747, texting OUT to 66267 or via stormcenter.oncor.com. Do not approach downed power lines. If you encounter an intersection without power, treat it as a four-way stop, and then proceed with caution. If you smell natural gas, leave the area immediately and from a safe distance, call 911 and the Atmos Energy emergency number at 866-322-8667.
