Urban Oasis is Hiring a designer! We are looking for Designers with below skills: Computer skills sorry dont have time to teach you how to use a computer. Usefull skills include Sketchup, Realtime Landscape Arch, Photshop, spreadsheets, graphic software of various kinds. Dont need specific skills just need to be able to learn quickly. This is why existing skills of some kind is a requirement. Time in the field installing is a big plus. Permaculture Design Course must have. Local plant knowledge is must have. Based on what you want, you could work in the field in addition to designing: Outdoor woodcraft Build bio-filtered water features Installing rain garden Food Forests Plant installation/care Irrigation (especially important) Building/crafting with metals Operating machinery Grading Permaculture MUST HAVE: - Positive attitude - Self-motivation - High sense of integrity - Willingness to learn and be part of a team - Reliable transportation to job sites in Lyons and Boulder area. -Plans to live in the Boulder area for a while not looking for short term applicants. Wages for Landscape Designer varies it pays per job so as your learning it is around $25/hour as you progress it could get up to around $65/hour.
