Press release from Irving Independent School District: Irving ISD Mar 21, 2022 Jumpstart your child's future with Irving ISD's PreK! Parents can begin registering their 3- and 4-year-olds for free and tuition-based PreK starting Friday, April 1, 2022. The benefits are endless! Every classroom has a certified teacher and instructional aide, who provide engaging, hands-on lessons. Additionally, we offer bilingual programs for English and Spanish speakers. Best of all, students learn in a caring environment that focuses on their social and emotional well-being. 3-year-olds can qualify for free, half-day PreK or tuition-based PreK, which includes free breakfast and/or lunch. Students will attend one of our early childhood schools (ECS): Clifton, Kinkeade or Pierce. 4-year-olds can qualify for free, full-day PreK or tuition-based PreK, which includes free breakfast and lunch and afterschool care through the YMCA. Students who qualify for the free full-day PreK will attend one of our 20 elementary schools while tuition-based PreK students will attend an ECS: Clifton, Kinkeade or Pierce.
