Danny's Pet Care LLC, a dog walking and pet sitting service in Woodridge, Brookland, Edgewood area in NE DC currently searching for new dog walkers and pet sitters. Walkers will primarily service NE DC. This is a physical job designed for true dog lovers, and this is a PT position that pays per dog. You can earn $20-$30 per hour if you are ready to seize the opportunity. We place great emphasis on safety, customer service, and self-reliance. This job is ideal if you are: Retired, a stay-at-home mom or dad (kids are in school), you do freelance or project work and have a flexible schedule, you have another part-time job in the evening, or are a student with availability in the afternoons (Noon – 4 pm Monday-Friday.) ( we also have extra jobs like a cat sitting visits and dog sitting overnight where you can make extra income) Responsibilities and Duties • Have fun provide companionship and physical exercise with a focus on safety. • Practice time management to stay on schedule • Communicate with the office and clients via phone/text and email • Provide excellent customer service • Give all dogs attention, exercise, and care as if they were your own Requirements • You must be available Monday-Friday from approximately 12 pm to 4 pm for six months or more. Possible weekend work if you are interested. • No summer or short term/seasonal positions are available • You must have a smartphone with a data plan and internet • You must be at least 18 years of age • You must own a reliable source of transportation such as an insured car (preferred) or bicycle/ if you have a car you will earn more money and finish faster. • Public transportation and ride-sharing are not viable options for covering a dog walking route • Be prepared for all weather conditions as this is a year-round position - you will be working outdoors • Legally authorized to work in the United States • Provide personal and professional references and submit previous employers for verification • Willing to submit to a criminal background check if a position is offered Qualifications and Skills • Knowledge of dog breeds and behavior • The ability to make quick decisions to keep dogs safe • Capable of walking more than one dog at a time • Comfortable walking dogs with special needs, medical or behavior concerns • Punctuality and time management is a critical skills to ensure on-time arrivals for all dog walks • Experience communicating with a team via voice, text, and email Benefits • Get paid to work out • Endless Dog kisses • Casual dress environment/outdoors • Flexible Scheduling • Independent work environment ( 1099 independent contractor) If you are interested in the job please email us or go to Dannyspetcare.com and applied online, under FORMS section that says hiring then answer the questionnaire and submit your information so we can make an appointment to conduct an in person interview.
