Description
LAGUNA BEACH, CA — Construction work for an emergency project on SR-133 starts Monday, with weeknight closures affecting Forest Avenue in Laguna Beach, the City of Laguna Beach said in a statement.
The construction will take place overnight Monday through Friday, from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. near Festival of Arts and city parking lots. The project is expected to last 30 days.
During construction, Caltrans workers will be removing and replacing damaged metal pipes, backfilling a sinkhole, striping and replacing pavement and bicycle grate.
According to the city, one lane of the highway will be closed northbound and southbound just north of Forest Avenue.
