***Possibly dog social 🐾🐾 43 lbs and 2 yrs old!!! SPARKY LOVES TOYS! Hi, I'm Sparky🐾 (may be dog social). I am set to be euthanized 4/1, 8 am. Why am I E-listed? Simply put, STRESS! I have done nothing wrong. I’m just struggling from being confined for long periods in this noisy, chaotic place. I repeatedly pace, jump, and bark in my kennel! It’s just not humane to keep me here. Who can save my life? I'm a 2-year-old, neutered, brindle and white American Pit Bull Terrier (43 lbs.). I came in as a stray and sought attention and affection from staff during my intake. It didn’t take long for me to break down in this place! Seeing my stress, the staff brought me to an office to help me calm down. I improved and was friendly with everyone and loved carrying around toys and bones to show off. When taken out for breaks, I walked well on leash, with only occasional pulling. One time, I almost bumped into another dog in the hallway and showed no reaction at all…just kept walking. When I get excited to see someone, I can be a little jumpy. I was so happy in the office but couldn’t stay there and was moved back to an outside kennel. Stress and frustration set in immediately, and I began jumping and bouncing off the kennel walls. I need out of here BAD!! I need a home where I can de-stress, get exercise and play time, and have a predictable routine. It is recommended that I meet the entire family and that children in the home be older. I haven’t had a dog-to-dog evaluation at the shelter; so, if you have dogs in your home, you will need the ability to separate us initially and gradually introduce. I am being treated for a “doggie cold”, and I’m on the mend. I don’t want to die!! Will you come meet me before it is too late?
