Description
SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO, CA —Zoomars has some new residents to their guinea pig and small animal petting zoo, Patch has learned.
Nina Leone of Zoomars Petting Zoo dropped by and claimed two of the critters for the famed south Orange County petting zoo, according to the South OC Animal Hospital. "All of the abandoned animals have now been adopted," they said.
Vet Tech Sydney Drennan of the South OC Animal Hospital went to Pep Boys for a bad battery in early November. She found herself presented with the box full of ten "cavies,"all in good health and of varying ages.
After conferring with the vets at her hospital, Drennan collected the guinea pigs and brought them in for a little triage, care, and consulting on what to do next. All were adopted within days, they said.
Visit two of them at Zoomars! which is open for business Thanksgiving week, albeit closed on Thanksgiving Day in San Juan Capistrano.
Join Zoomars for Gobble Wobble Days, Saturday and Sunday, where you can meet their two beautiful turkeys, and take part in free Thanksgiving craft making.
