Description
Root & Stalk, a Columbia county-based landscape design and installation business is seeking seasonal gardeners for installation and maintenance work. A commitment of at least 2 days/week is required with additional hours available as the season ramps up.
Tasks include planting and transplanting, weeding, grooming, watering, clean up, fertilizing, hedge trimming, shrub pruning and occasional nursery runs to pick up plants and materials.
Prefer 2 years gardening experience with basic plant ID and knowledge of maintenance techniques. Two weeks of paid training if no experience but a sincere interest in the work. Ability to follow direction is essential along with good time management skills and a professional attitude at all times. It is a casual atmosphere but the work is demanding and a steady pace is expected. Most importantly, have a passionate interest in gardening and enjoy outdoor work.
You must be physically fit, have a reliable cell phone and reliable transportation.

Pay starts at $18/hr depending on experience. Room for growth and quick pay increase. Also offering a paid internship.
