In recognition of Small Business Saturday and to help celebrate local businesses this holiday season, the City of Cedar Falls will be offering free parking in the municipal lots located in the Downtown and College Hill areas on Saturday, November 28.
Small Business Saturday is an American shopping holiday that falls the Saturday after Thanksgiving. It encourages the public to shop local and support the small businesses in their community.
You can learn more about local businesses in the College Hill and Downtown areas by visiting www.communitymainstreet.org and www.collegehillpartnership.org. To view parking maps of both locations, go to bit.ly/parkingCF.
The City does remind citizens to continue to stay safe if they will be out by following COVID-19 precautions, including the use of a mask, social distancing, and frequent handwashing, to help prevent the spread of the virus.
